Summer Diplomatic School in Warsaw

Russian - German – Polish Youth Cooperation

The Summer Diplomatic School (SDS) is a project of the European Academy of Diplomacy (EAD) under the patronage of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union (2011). The SDS aims to gather young leaders from Germany, Poland and Russia and become a platform of their education in international affairs. The SDS is intended for young professionals (from academia, public administration, non-governmental sector etc.). 15 participants (5 from each of the countries) will meet this July in Warsaw, Poland.

«Creative Diplomacy« became official partner of the EAD in Russia and is responsible for enrollement of Russian participants.

During six days the SDS participants will learn more on reasons and methods of overcoming diplomatic conflicts and cultural misunderstandings, rules of effective communication, public diplomacy and negotiations. They get acquainted with the arguments of German, Polish and Russian colleagues on the same aspects of diplomacy. The SDS is an unique opportunity to work out in the young, dynamic and multicultural environment the frameworks of modern, open minded diplomacy that respects reasons of the other side – the diplomacy we would wish for a strong and coherent Europe of tomorrow.
