Currently, the EU neither has a democratic constitution comparable to a sovereign state nor does it provide a secure rule of law framework to its members. From today's perspective, it seems impossible to form a constitutional, democratically organised European constitutional state without a uniform constitutional understanding and will on the part of all EU Member States. However, the EU elite are increasingly putting forward values of the rule of law. The lecture will provide some insightful perspectives on this topic, including analyses of current examples.
The registration form is here.
The lecture starts at 4 pm. You will be additionally informed about the venue after filling in the registration form.
