Outlook on the Future Relations of the EU with Russia: Information Policy Issues
Within Meeting Russia Online Discussion Club, an Austrian independent political scientist Ulrike Reisner will speak on the future relations of the EU with Russia, putting a focus information policy issues. The lecture is organized in cooperation with Faculty of World Politics of Moscow State University.
Outlook on the Future Relations of the EU with Russia: Information Policy Issues (Lecture)

Ms. Reisner is also a Meeting Russia alumna and a frequent contributor to PICREADI.

Content: Starting from the concept of "information policy", it will be shown that a distinction must be made between the "content" of information policy and information policy as a "political strategy and method". Current examples in the framework of the EU with reference to the Russian Federation will be explained. Opportunities and possibilities will be shown in which areas and with which means a constructive approach to further information policy should be possible.
