International Youth Forum of Public Diplomacy "InterYes" started in Ulyanovsk
The online forum opened on April 11 with a plenary session "Youth policy in the implementation of public diplomacy: new challenges and horizons of cooperation".
The forum was organized by the Project Office of International Youth Cooperation "Russia-BRICS" together with the Foundation "Ulyanovsk - the capital of culture" with the support of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs "Rosmolodezh".
The landmark event, which brought together almost 100 participants from eleven countries such as Brazil, India, China, South Africa, Ghana, Kazakhstan, Indonesia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Uzbekistan and Russia, was an important step in strengthening international relations in the face of severe sanctions and the global crisis.
The delegates of the forum were welcomed by the Governor of the Ulyanovsk Region Alexei Russkikh.
The plenary session was attended by the President of the RPO "BRICS. World of Traditions" Lyudmila Sekacheva, Director of Government and Public Organizations Communication of BRICS National Research Committee Valeria Gorbacheva, President of PICREADI Natalia Burlinova, Founder and Executive Chairman of the South African BRICS Youth Association (SABYA) Raymond Matlala, and other experts. The head of Rossotrudnichestvo Evgeny Primakov sent a welcome address to the participants of the event.
The result of the forum, which will last until April 15, will be the development of international youth projects on public diplomacy.
